Megan Spagnolo Lai, Esq.
Attorney
An empathetic approach to estate planning, family law, and civil litigation
Megan has been with BIll and Amy Wuliger for her entire legal career and maintains a diverse practice, most notably in the areas of family law and estates and trusts. Her compassion and empathy are the cornerstones of the exceptional service she provides to her clients.
For more than a decade, Megan has crafted estate plans and trusts that are tailored to each client’s unique needs, regardless of their wealth. She creates simple yet comprehensive estate plans that ensure her clients’ wishes are carried out after they die, while streamlining the estate administration process to save their loved ones time, money and stress.
Megan considers her own family to be the foundation for her happiness and success, and is passionate about helping individuals, same sex couples, and couples struggling with infertility realize their hopes of becoming parents. Megan compassionately and confidentially guides intended parents, donors and surrogates through the process of entering assisted reproduction agreements by explaining their obligations, advocating for their rights, and ensuring that the final agreements are binding and not subject to legal challenge.
While her primary objective is to help people avoid litigation, Megan also represents individuals and companies in state and federal court in a wide variety of litigation matters, including legal malpractice and commercial disputes.
Megan resides in Cleveland Heights with her husband, Alex, and their son, Henry. When she’s not practicing law, she can be found wandering through a museum, kayaking one of Northeast Ohio’s rivers, or indulging in a cheese plate at one of Cleveland’s many excellent restaurants.
